Welcome to Svenska Internationella Förskolan

We are a bilingual preschool with a focus on language development in Swedish and English. In our international profile, we see diversity as an asset. We let the children explore their surroundings and the wider world with curiosity — on their own and together. Through learning, play and security, we create the best conditions for the world citizens of the next generation.

Two preschools – Kista and Hässelby

We have two preschools — in Kista and in Hässelby — with room for 40 and 20 children respectively. Our qualified and experienced teachers motivate and inspire the children. All our learning environments start from the children’s curiosity and let them meet different learning experiences and ways of working.

Outdoor learning, food and working with parents

For us, learning is not only about the indoor environment. Our lovely gardens with open green spaces are perfect for outdoor education. The parks and forests around the corner are a natural part of everyday life — we are outside every day, in all weather. And we make regular outings: to the forest, the library, and the city’s museums and theatres.

Our food is thoughtful and balanced, with a love of organic and seasonal ingredients. We are a sugar-free preschool and love to bake and make ice cream with natural sweetness.

We are proud of our close contact and cooperation with parents.
